Begun July 17, 2002 as a continuous work in progress, the purpose of this page is to share with the academic community and others ideas, materials, web sites, and references that I find useful in forecasting the future of the academic library.   Because of the rapid changes in higher education, publishing, libraries, technology and other areas, library administrators have a difficult task keeping abreast of trends, new discoveries, inventions, innovative processes and thinking.   I will list my own mission critical forecasts, issues and concerns.    If you you would like to share your own issues, ideas, materials, web sites and or references, please send them to me.
